Sources: Conner Henry To Coach NBA D-League Select Team In Las Vegas

Updated: May 23, 2014

According to sources, Conner Henry of the 2013-2014 NBA D-League champion Fort Wayne Mad Ants will be named head coach of the NBA D-League Select Team at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

In addition to winning the NBADL title this past season, Henry was also named NBA D-League Coach of the Year as well. It should come as no surprise that Henry will guide the NBADL Select Team for the summer session, as the past two NBADL Coach of the Year recipients (Alex Jensen and Eric Musselman) have done so too.

In fact,  Henry was an assistant with Musselman on the 2012 NBA D-League Select Team. Coaching the Select Team in Las Vegas has been a tremendous opportunity for coaches due to all the NBA personnel on hand during the mid-summer event.

Keep an eye out as we officially move into the summer months (more specifically at the beginning of July) for the official release of the NBA D-League Select Team roster, as it will be loaded with some of the top performers from the D-League this past season.
