Here’s What Happened At The NBA D-League Trade Deadline

Updated: March 7, 2014

The NBA D-League trade deadline took place today, and a few teams utilized the opportunity to make some last minute changes.

Sources tell that in a four team deal, the Canton Charge received William Buford and a fourth round draft pick, Delaware picked up a second round draft pick, Idaho snagged Vander Blue from Delaware, and Santa Cruz received Richard Howell’s returning player rights from the Stampede.

In another deal, Santa Cruz sent Dominic McGuire to Tulsa in exchange for Dominic Sutton’s returning player rights.

And finally, another notable deal was Delaware shipping off Kyrylo Fesenko and a second round pick to the Canton Charge in exchange for second round draft pick.

The trade deadline was busier than what some had expected, and it appears Canton, Santa Cruz, and Delaware were the most active NBA D-League teams at the final hour.
