This past summer I collaborated with the ESPN TrueHoop Network team bloggers as well as D-League bloggers to grade NBA teams’ ability to use D-League teams. Some teams fared better than others, and the same can be said through more than half of the 2010-11 season. So which NBA team has best utilized the D-League so far this season?
Click after the jump for the results from last week’s poll question.
Last week’s poll question asked, “Who Should Be the Next D-League Call-Up?” The choices were limited to four D-League All-Stars who hadn’t already been called up this season, specifically top candidates Jeff Adrien, Othyus Jeffers, Ivan Johnson, Courtney Sims.
Adrien led the way with 31 percent of the vote, the only individual to top “Other,” which received 24 percent of the vote. Iowa Energy teammates received 21 and 12 percent, respectively, and Ivan Johnson received 12 percent. Fittingly enough, Adrien was called up by the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
Jeffers, Sims and Johnson squared off in a pair of games over the past few days between Iowa and Erie. Sims took top billing with double-doubles in both performances, including an 18-point, 18-rebound performance on Sunday.
Forty-two votes were cast in the poll.
